This birthday boy hit a mile stone in turning 16!
Unfortunately for him, he doesn't get to get his driver's license until we go back to the States. Even if he had his license he can't drive here in China until he is 18. 😕
No worries, there is always dating. . .right. . .unless there is only a Beehive (now YW 13) and only a couple of choices at school that could make life a little awkward.
Good thing he still goes through life with a smile on his face.

After two years of searching now has his Eagle Project, soon to be wrapped up.
Still an avid reader and history buff.
Does a pretty good job of having a good attitude even when he is asked (forced) to do something he isn't interested in.

A new adventure begins. . .braces!
This birthday boy is now 13! Wow does time fly!
To this day he is still our little chef. Specialties include fried eggs and cookies.
Always a self-learner, there is no stopping him once he wants to learn or improve a new skill.
Enjoys helping others and is a great grocery runner.
Friendly, and much to the surprise of strangers, has no problem starting up a conversation with them.
Enjoys quickly memorizing anything that tickles his fancy.
Has had a few trials, but courageously faces many daring challenges.

Next adventure braces. . .which we only started because he wouldn't stop reminding us he need them.
I love these Warriors of Light! They amaze me with their goodness, bravery, desire to do what is right and their "wild hearts"! Go have an adventure!
